The neighborhood is full of charming lakefront houses, cottages, villas, and historical nautical style estates. Romantic and quiet, houses here have long, deep properties that offer privacy on the lakefront, creating a peaceful setting often frequented by ducks, Blue Herons, American Eagles, and seagulls.

October 2026 5.00Had quite a peaceful away time at this place. The location is gorgeous just by the lake, it was really pretty. The cottage itself is very nice designed around lemon and lake theme hence the name. Dan was very responsive, got to meet him too as he lives by the cottage. Definitely recommend this was a peaceful and serene getaway

Dan was an excellent host from date of booking to check out. We would absolutely return to Lemon Drop Cottages for a future stay.

September 2026 5.00Dan was an excellent host responding to all our questions quickly. The cottage and grounds are dog friendly, which was one reason we booked our stay. The cottage is small but worked well for two people and a pet. North Madison, Ohio has many Wineries and Restaurants nearby. If you book this cottage and the weather is good, you are going to enjoy the stay.

September 2026 5.00Dan was a great host called me as soon as I booked was so nice the place was a cute little cottage with cute little themed details throughout the cottage the lake was beautiful the night we stayed and enjoyed the sunset and the next day the sunrise which would have had a perfect view also but it was cloudy but the location provides great views.
